Happy Easter!

A beautiful spring morning here in the canyon, thought I would finally get to draw Teresa's beautiful yellow roses in front of the sun rising over the West Temple.

Busy day with egg hunt and brunch, with grand-daughter, Freya, and friends.

Tomorrow is another day, and hoping to have bacterial fested ankle plates removed in one day surgery.

I will take today's golden light with me.

Michelle's sweet gift

A tough week, on and off, so finally had to do do something pleasant and fun... So here is this lovely pink plus kalanchoe in a red tub. I love the graphic ness of drawing on the iPad.

Spring mornings arising

Well managed to get to draw this morning, what a beautiful one too.

My self challenge of a drawing a day has severely lapsed, due to many things, good and bad, I am dropping that challenge out of self compassion. I have too much going on to be able to do that so I am letting it go and will not be hard on my self for it! I will draw when I can.

Snowy sky

A quick rendition of the West temple with snow... Hopefully this will be the last of any more cold weather! Though we do need the moisture.

Sky remembered in passing....

Into St. George again, but this time picking up more prints for the Bit and Spur show next month... They are looking great, but realised I have missed 2 key drawings that will need to go in, so now trying to down load them into Dropbox - not sure if the estimated time of 2 hours is correct? Will leave it to run and see what happens!

In the meantime, whilst driving in to the 'big city' this sky was to the east. Braided cumulonimbus in the lower part and the incus were building above with a hint of rainbow halos.

Seeking solace in the sky

A rough couple of days physically and mentally, so started the day with my favourite meditation - drawing the sky. Apologies for missing 2 days ...

Stratocumulus Lacunosus

Skies are changing a lot today... Maybe I should just draw all day? Would not that be nice!

Airplane contrails

Two drawings today, as missed March 1. This mornings skies, cirrostratus fibratus with an overlay of airplane contrails, were fun to see and draw. Humanity on the move.
